#Art #Photo, Tom Edenbrow’s first exhibition enlists the Old Grocery’s airy Victorian architecture and visually honest Mike Stoane lighting in creating a powerful dramaturgy of material photographic artworks that despite the concurrence of naturalistic shots alongside those of freedom of colour and abrasive photogrammetry, address objective perception and shared experience. The major exhibition brings together newer and older series (which Edenbrow calls excursions) that feature a total of 224 fearsomely worked compositions of positive and negative space, effortless authenticity and  consistently captured beauty.

Embracing the border of the photo while moving beyond the limitations of ideas, #Art #Photo calls into question the distinction between truth, creativity and depiction.
